Three of six-part Todos Santos Speaker Series, “Eco-Technologies - Actions for Sustainable Building.” Presenter: Felipe de Jesus Morales Ramirez, Conciencia MEXICO AC. Understand the latest technologies driving sustainable building and development in Baja. Jesus is a La Paz-based civil engineer and a masters candidate in sustainable development and globalization at the state university (UABCS). Bring your green design and building questions. A permanent photography show that highlights the special characteristics that make up the cultural identity of Baja California Sur. A video showcasing BCS complements the photographs. In the Codex Península of the Centro Cultural La Paz, located on 16 de Septiembre at the corner of Belisario Dominguez. Text is in English and Spanish. Free.

A collection of Oaxacan decorative black pottery (barro negro) which comes from a village that specializes in crafting the unusual, and beautiful pieces. Posted information in English and Spanish. This cultural center is on Madero St. between 5 de Mayo and Independencia, across the street from Velasco garden. Free.

December 18. Friday. 6:00 pm. Christmas Concert by The Youth Orchestra of Los Cabos as part of the municipal cultural program.

December 15. Tuesday. The 5th Annual Holiday Concert featuring the Los Cabos Youth Orchestra & Polyphonic Choir. This has become a very popular event at the gallery with limited seating of only 24 guests, and it sells out every year. The majority of the proceeds go directly to benefit the Youth Orchestra. A $500 USD gift coin toward an original work of art will be given to one attendee. More info and reservations at the gallery.
