The Bisbee Tournaments Are Back!

The Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore fishing tournament will take place from October 17 to 20 with the following schedule: Thursday, October 17, 3 - 7 p.m. Registration and distribution of Team Bags at the Puerto Paraiso Mall, followed at 7 p.m. with the Angler, Captain and Deckhand Meeting. One team member must attend. The arty will start at 7:30 p.m. with the traditional Kick-Off Cocktail Party at the Puerto Paraiso Mall.

Then on Friday, October 18, the tourney begins at 8 a.m. with the Shotgun Start. The Weigh Station will be open in front of the Puerto Paraiso Mall. Tournament fishing lines must be out of the water by 5 p.m. The same for Saturday, until the Awards Celebration that will take place at 7 p.m. at the Maria Corona restaurant. Open to tournament participants only.

Then from October 22 to 26, the BIG Bisbee’s Black & Blue tournament will take place, with the following schedule: Tuesday, October 22, Registration and distribution of team bags in front of Puerto Paraiso Mall from 3 to 7 p.m., followed by the Captains Meeting. Opening Ceremonies begin at 8 p.m. with Flag Honors with Mexican Naval Escort, Mexican National Anthem, Pre-Colombian New Fire Dance, Lighting of the Tournament Torch, Japanese Taiko Drums and DeeJay Music.

The Shotgun Start takes place on Wednesday at 8 a.m. This is an amazing start to watch from your hotel room if you are in Cabo or from a water taxi. This is Day 1 of Tournament Fishing; lines must be out of the water by 5 p.m. The Weigh Station will be open in front of the Puerto Paraiso Mall until 9 p.m. The same itinerary goes for Thursday and Friday.

The awards celebration will take place on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the API Cruise Ship Pier, with cocktails followed by dinner and a big-screen presentation of the tournament video. The evening entertainment will be presented by Cabo Max's Benefit concert, hosted by Bisbee's Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund. The concert, raffle and silent auction will benefit the Green Scholarship Program and the BF&WCF Revolutionary RFID Tagging Program.
