Easter Holidays Are Just Around the Corner

Beaches and other tourist spots are expected to be packed!

In addition to spring breakers, a large influx of national tourists is expected soon, as Easter is the student holiday period in Mexico. Waste containers, restrooms, and water containers are installed on the region’s beaches for camping.

In Cabo San Lucas, the beaches that are popular for visiting include El Chileno, Santa María, El Médano, Hacienda, Coral Negro, 8 Cascadas, and El Tule. In San José del Cabo, the preferred beaches are Palmilla and La Rivera.

It’s important to note that bonfires are not allowed on certified blue flag beaches, whether for cooking or heating.

The holiday period will officially begin on Saturday, April 12th at 8:30 in the morning, when authorities will finalize the details of surveillance, security, and relief operations. Representatives from federal forces, aid and rescue agencies like Civil Protection, Firefighters, and the Red Cross, along with state and municipal authorities, will collaborate to organize safety measures.

These operations involve participation from authorities, businesses, emergency services, and the private sector, all working together to ensure that visitors can enjoy their vacations safely. The holiday festivities will span from Saturday, April 12, to Sunday, April 27, 2025.
