Katie June and her husband John Joseph were having a heated argument in a street in Ensenada when the police arrived to try and calm them down. As part of the process, their ID’s were required and Bingo! They were wanted by the Baja California Sur authorities for being the main suspects of kidnapping and possibly killing a Mexican citizen in mid-September. John Joseph was a partner in the Diner restaurant in Cabo San Lucas, which closed in the summer.
They will be transferred to the prison in La Paz while the investigation continues. Their two underage children are in the authorities’ custody waiting for next of kin to pick them up. Stay tuned.
