It must be a tough day when Baja California Sur Governor, Victor Castro, is forced to ask business owners for help, particularly the water truck owners. As everyone knows, the water situation in Los Cabos keeps getting worse, with some homes going without water for up to 4 weeks! This summer hasn’t helped either, as we’ve only seen rain on two days.
To address the problem, Castro is asking water trucks to deliver free potable water to the most vulnerable neighborhoods. It’s hard not to remember his 2021 campaign promise, when he confidently smiled and declared the “End of the water crisis.”
Well, here we are in 2024, and the crisis is far from over. Let’s hope these efforts bring some relief to those in need.
