Just like he promised, Mayor Oscar Leggs a.k.a. El Profe, showed up yesterday morning with trucks and several government officials to begin extraction of the mud sitting in the San Jose sewage treatment plant. Fonatur officials and equipment were there too. El Profe said that it will cost some $250,000 USD a month to keep it running and keep the smell at its minimum. Hold your breath for a few more days!
