Access to Balandra Beach Will be Restricted

Semana Santa (Holy Week) starts on Sunday, April 10, and many, many residents of La Paz traditionally camp out at Balandra beach, considered the most beautiful in Mexico. This year, however, camping at the pristine Balandra beach will not be allowed and only 400 people will be let in and stay for a maximum of three hours, in three blocks: from 8 to 11 am, from 12 noon to 3 pm and from 4 to 7 pm, this in order to protect the environment. I am staying away from the beach those days!
