Whale Rescued in Los Barriles

A Humpback whale entangled in a longline fishing net was spotted in Los Barriles on the East Cape, and volunteers from the RABEN network (Network to assist entangled whales) set in action. It took twelve days to get it done, because they could only work on her for a few hours as she was swimming and diving between Los Barriles, La Ventana and La Paz. She was a juvenile some 10 meters long.
