Crystal Cruises has announced that it is suspending its Ocean and Expedition ships through April 29 this year. “The Crystal Serenity and Crystal Endeavor will complete their current voyages on January 30 and February 4, respectively,” says the statement. “This was an extremely difficult decision but a prudent one given the current business environment and recent developments with our parent company, Genting Hong Kong,” said Jack Anderson, Crystal’s president. Just 4 days ago, Bunker supplier Peninsula Petroleum secured an order in Miami to arrest a Crystal Cruises ship over unpaid fuel bills, but the vessel is expected to stay away from the port. It is a money problem then.
