La Paz Traffic Alert!

This Saturday and Sunday several streets in La Paz will be closed to vehicle traffic. The reason? The “L’Etape La Paz by Tour de France” bicycle race will take place on Sunday morning. The street closures will begin at 5:00 pm Saturday along the malecón (Alvaro Obregón street), and will continue at the crack of dawn towards Pichilingue and Balandra bay Sunday morning. It is expected that the closures will end in different areas between 9:30 am and noon. Great photo opportunities if you like to get up before dawn!
