Some years ago, the richness and diversity of fish in our seas was thought to be endless and infinite. The resources of the sea were plentiful and the oceans were full of food. Unfortunately, what will soon be endless will be the species of fish that will continue to disappear.

Los Cabos Billfish Tournament Has Bigger Year Than Last

Radio Channel 28 stayed lively all three days of the 20th Annual Los Cabos Billfish tournament, with the tournament fleet averaging 50 releases each day. Last year, anglers released 61 blues and 31 striped marlin; this year, the striped marlin bite returned with a fury.

This has been a busy time out at our arch, as there was a sandy floor under it, not 20 feet of water like usual. This happens every so often, but it’s exciting and people like to go out there and walk under the rocks.

7th Annual Film Festival

After its grand opening premier six years ago, The 2018 Los Cabos International Film Festival returns this year for another 5 day run from November 7-11 at the Pavilion Cultural Center in Cabo San Lucas. If that building is fixed it time, which the city said can-do.
