June Smith, Dead At 72

Arriving in Cabo in 1989, June was full of fun, with a throaty voice and hearty laugh, a smoker to the end, who said that she gambled on smoking and lost. She wanted to act as a warning to others.

She grew up in Calgary Alberta Canada, was divorced, and is survived by two daughters, rdene Mattos and Lori Smith.

She worked for Century 21 in Cabo San Lucas most of the time she was here.

June was well respected by her colleagues, her clients, and her competitors as well.

Her dear friend Cathie Smith would like to tell our readers. “If there is a tagline on this obituary, tell people if they still smoke, please remember all the people who love them and will miss them terribly when they are gone, and even though cancer can strike anyone, do what you can to lessen your risk.”
