This event will seamlessly blend Japanese culinary tradition with the unique essence and hospitality Los Cabos is known for The Maki Fest Los Cabos 2025 aims to celebrate creativity in the kitchen, showcasing the richness of Japanese cuisine while incorporating fresh, local ingredients. Between 500 and 600 attendees are expected, including locals, nationals, and international guests.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in culinary demonstrations, exclusive tastings, cultural activities, art exhibits, and traditional Japanese experiences. Scheduled for May 31st at the Los Cabos Golf Resort, the event will kick off at 6:00 PM and will feature various restaurants, each presenting their best dishes inspired by Japanese cuisine. “This event also helps strengthen the cultural ties between Japan and the Cabo destination while providing a fantastic platform to position Los Cabos as a benchmark for regional tourism,” stated Ana Gabriela Navarro, Municipal Director of Tourism. She also pointed out that the Maki Fest Los Cabos will provide a significant boost to the local economy, benefiting restaurants, producers, and entrepreneurs in the tourism and gastronomy sectors.
