Caesar’s Palace Cancels Plans to Open in Los Cabos

Eduardo Sanchez Navarro, the biggest tourist developer in Los Cabos stated this morning that the plan to build a Caesar’s Palace resort in the San Jose estuary has been cancelled. “the project had all the permits and it would not affect the estuary, but the controversy over this caused that the Caesar’s Palace corporation decided not to build it to protect their prestige,” said Don Eduardo, as Mexicans call him. He also said that “our destination has lost a $250 million USD investment in 500 rooms that was to create 1,700 new jobs.” Was the project inside the estuary or not? Judge for yourself.
