This is a great way to take them out of the streets
A specially assigned space at the Country Club Hotel will be open on weekends, providing local entrepreneurs with an opportunity to directly display and sell their handcrafted items to tourists and visitors.
This sales outlet will operate on Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. María Salinas, the Economic Development Coordinator, mentioned that the specific start dates will be announced soon.
The initiative aims to enhance the local economy by offering a platform for artisans to promote their unique products.
Participants must ensure their offerings are entirely handmade and adhere to specific guidelines, including having a distinct brand name, labels, and an informative QR code. They are encouraged to creatively present their goods, emphasizing their manufacturing processes and elements that attract consumer interest.
To register their products, artisans need to provide proof of residency in Los Cabos. Those without documentation can obtain a letter from the Municipality to certify their address. Registration can be done online at the designated website. www.setuesbcs.gob.mx
“This is a fantastic opportunity for our local entrepreneurs to exhibit their talent and creativity. We aim to elevate the local economy by increasing sales opportunities and creating new business avenues,” stated Salinas. Additionally, plans to explore other venues, such as “The Place at Cabo” are in progress, focusing on expanding sales points and enhancing the visibility of regional products while continuing to support local artisans.
