Los Cabos Invests $12M to Supercharge Roads and Ease Traffic

Better be ready before the rainy season comes

The municipal government approved an investment of 234 million pesos (US$12 million) to improve streets in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. The program includes 19 paving projects in areas with mobility problems and the rehabilitation of a park.

In San José del Cabo, seven streets will be paved with hydraulic concrete, distributed throughout several neighborhoods, seeking to improve connectivity in areas with high traffic flow and infrastructure problems.

One of the most significant projects within the program is the paving of the Camino Viejo to San José, a road that currently presents circulation problems and contributes to bottlenecks in this city. Authorities indicated that, in addition to federal resources, a combination of state and municipal funds is being considered to expand the scope of the works in different neighborhoods.
