Doggies Remains Found and Reported on Social Media

A recent video posted on social media sparked public concern about an alleged illegal graveyard containing dog remains within the City Center for Canine Attention (CEMAC) in La Paz. The video quickly gained attention, prompting a response from both the public and government officials.

CEMAC’s director, Kenia Angulo, stepped in to clarify the situation, explaining that the remains belong to dogs that unfortunately did not survive, and that the graveyard is, in fact, legal. She reassured the public that CEMAC follows proper procedures for handling deceased animals.

Angulo also mentioned that CEMAC is actively seeking funding for a crematorium, which would allow them to handle these situations more appropriately in the future. The facility continues its work to care for stray animals, offering regular adoption events at the state government esplanade, giving many dogs a second chance at life.

So, while the video may have caused a stir, it looks like CEMAC is working to improve the situation and continue their important mission of helping animals in need.
