Heads up, eco-warriors and everyone who loves Baja’s beautiful land and marine environments! There’s a non-profit, volunteer organization doing some pretty awesome work to protect this stunning area. And guess what? They’ve organized a Public Drop Off event that’s happening the first Thursday of each month, from 9 to 11 am. It’s time to mark your calendars and do your part for the planet!
So, what can you bring to the drop-off? They’re accepting a range of recyclables: Plastic, Metal, Cardboard, and even EPS 6 (though there are a few restrictions on that last one, so maybe check the details first). It’s a great way to responsibly get rid of stuff that shouldn’t end up in a landfill.
Now, where do you need to go? Head on over to the main street, 20 de Noviembre, in Los Barriles. The drop-off site is super easy to find – it’s at the picturesque “Baja’s Resort at East Cape,” right next to Caleb’s Cafe and the bike shop. Can’t miss it!
This is more than just a recycling drive; it’s a community coming together to protect its natural beauty. By participating, you’re not just tossing out trash; you’re contributing to a larger effort to keep Baja clean and pristine. So, gather up your recyclables and get ready to do some good. Let’s all pitch in and show some love for our environment. Get your trash ready, and see you there!
