New Soriana Supermarket

BY DAVID FLORES

The construction of the third Cabo San Lucas Soriana store, being built next to Costco on the uphill road, was suspended in mid-October by the city. Justo Couto, spokesman for the El Tezal Citizens Council, stated there was only a permit to move dirt, not to build.

The next day, Los Cabos’ Mayor announced Soriana did have the construction permits but did not display them as they should. Hence the suspension. The construction continues, and by the way these stores are built, it might be open for Christmas! Once open, vehicle traffic will increase in that area Big time.
