The Los Cabos Humane Society has announced the date for the 14th annual Paws ‘n Claws golf fundraiser. It will be held on Sunday, December 3 at Palmilla Golf Club. You can register to play or sponsor directly on the event website: https://pawsnclawsgolf.com/. This is the organization’s biggest fundraiser of the year, and they are hoping for a great turnout. LCHS offers low-cost sterilizations at its shelter clinic Monday to Friday by appointment. You might wonder what “low-cost” really means. The costs are as follows and include antibiotics: Male cats 50 pesos; female cats 200 pesos; male dogs 150 pesos; female dogs 500 pesos.
The thrift store Huellitas located in the same building as the animal shelter is now open three days a week thanks to dedicated volunteers. Shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 4 p.m. If you have items in good condition to donate, they can be dropped off any time the shelter is open.
