Famous La Paz Cow Lost and Found!

The “Vaquita,” or little cow, the famous sculpture that sits on the roof of the Aramburo supermarket on Madero street, vanished and her loyal fans were wondering what had happened to her. The supermarket employees have made a tradition of changing her attire according to the season, summer vacations, spring break, Halloween, Christmas, etc. but she had never disappeared before. Not even hurricanes have brought her down. Turns out that she’s getting prettied up to parade in the Carnival that begins this evening, for her first time. Phew!
