The VIXIT yacht that beached in between Loreto and Nopolo on the Sea of Cortes last week, was finally towed away. It is now stationed in the Nopolo marina for a detailed revision for damages, although it seems to be in pretty good shape. Damage to the reef that the VIXIT hit and stood on for over a week will be assessed by environmental authorities. The 15 crew members have returned to their place of origin, and we hear that they are looking for a new Captain. Ha!
