Rare Fish Surfaces in La Ventana Beach

A juvenile Giant Oarfish (Regalecus Glesne) was found floating in the ocean by a visitor in La Ventana, near La Paz. These species live in the deepest depths and are rarely seen alive. They are believed to surface prior to an earthquake or tsunami, as they are hypersensitive to both phenomena.
