Huge Tuna Caught Post-Tournament

As usual, the biggest catch takes place a few days earlier or later from the Los Cabos several millionaire fishing tournaments. This time it was a 310 lbs. Yellowfin tuna caught Tuesday in San José del Cabo just three days after the Los Cabos Tuna Jackpot. The biggest fish caught during the tourney was a 210 pounder, but Captain Francisco “Gachi” Castillo found this one in his “backyard” aboard his 26’ Panga (skiff) the Regina 2, out at the Outter Gordo Banks. Angler is Mike Witoshynsky. He caught this fish on standup tackle in just over one hour. Information courtesy of www.piscessportfishing.com
