Oyster Farming is Big In Our State

With a current production of 2,200 tonnes a year, the oyster farming supports 600 people, most of them women. There are 135 farms throughout the Southern Baja state, 106 of which are in Comondu, north of Loreto. Most of the production is exported to the U.S.
