Day of the Dead Festival Announced

The Los Cabos department of culture has announced that the Day of the Dead will be celebrated with a cultural festival at the main square in downtown San Jose del Cabo on Tuesday, November 2. There will be an Altar contest, with prizes from 7,000 to 3,000 pesos. A second contest would be that of Living Catrinas, where people wear customs and body paint similar to that of Catrinas (female) and Catrines (male).
