DIF Los Cabos Receives $10,000 Donation from World Wide Technology Golf Tournament

The Los Cabos Comprehensive Development of the Family (DIF) received a $10,000 donation from proceeds raised during the “World Wide Technology Championship 2025” golf tournament, held November 3 – 9 at the El Cardonal course within the Diamante resort complex in Cabo San Lucas.

“We have around 18 DIF locations that maintain direct contact with our citizens. This donation will help us continue improving our care services, especially at the Basic Rehabilitation Unit (UBR), where we offer physical therapy, speech therapy, and aquatic rehabilitation in our therapeutic pool,” said DIF Director Estela Bañuelos.

The funds will primarily support the UBR, enhancing care for children, older adults, and patients undergoing physical and therapeutic recovery.

Adolfo Martínez, representative of the World Wide Technology Championship, emphasized the importance of continuing to host this international event in Los Cabos. He noted that for the PGA and organizers, it is vital that the resources raised translate into direct support for the most vulnerable communities, reaffirming the tournament’s commitment to social responsibility.

The partnership between DIF and the World Wide Technology Championship has been instrumental in ensuring Los Cabos can host this international competition for the third consecutive year, an event that brings together sportsmanship, solidarity, and community well-being in Southern Baja California.
