Los Cabos November 20th parade

The Los Cabos City Council announced that all preparations are complete for the November 20 parade, the national holiday commemorating the start of the Mexican Revolution in 1910, ending on December 1, 1920. The holiday honors the movement that brought major social and political reforms to the country.

Twenty groups from local schools and sports academies will take part in this year’s event. The parade begins at 5 p.m. in the El Zacatal neighborhood, at the intersection of Dr. Ernesto Cháidezand Ernesto Arámburo streets in San José del Cabo.

The procession will move along Dr. Ernesto Cháidez Street, continue onto Pescadores Street, and end at the Santa Rosa Sports Complex. Two exhibition points have been set up for special presentations, one on Jesús Castro Agúndez Street and another at the intersection with Miguel Bertín Fernández Street.

Elton Olachea, general director of INDEM, emphasized the importance of preserving civic traditions and urged residents to attend and support the participating schools. Parades are held nationwide on November 20 as part of Mexico’s Revolution Day observance, with civic, military, and athletic displays forming a central part of the annual celebrations.
