Many people may already know about the sweet little dog Henry that has been missing in Cabo San Lucas since August 19th. Henry is my dog. I have been looking for months for him. It’s a very sad story and just breaks my heart. I am asking the community of Cabo to keep sharing his story to help make this a happy ending. There are many unfortunate sets of events that occurredand followed after the disappearance of Henry from a daycare in Cabo San Lucas. It’s awful that I wasn’t notified of his disappearance until four hours after he somehow escaped. Those four hours were crucial for me getting him back. We have video evidence of him running and being chased by the daycare staff on a motorcycle on Libertad street which is just a few blocks away from the daycare. We know for sure he got out and nothing happened to him inside the daycare. He had been seen later that day on the 19th and early on the morning of the 20th. Many dogs look like Henry. It’s been a very challenging time trying to navigate this process and look for my beloved dog. It’s very viral on the internet, however so many people still don’t know he is missing and don’t use Facebook.
I have been in touch with many animal communicators, they all feel he is alive and with a family or someone. I pray he is safe and ok and with someone who just doesn’t know he has a loving home waiting for him. Henry is the sweetest pup ever. He loves all people and dogs but could be a little shy and scared at this stage. I rescued him two years ago off the streets. He was in bad condition. I tried to find an owner but nobody commented on any of the posts. He needed a home. A safe home with love where he could get medical attention and recover. He had thetypical street dog diseases. Henry is so special to me. We absolutely fell in love with each other. I have never had a bond or connection with an animal like I do with Henry. He is young, maybe 4 years old with the best smile ever!
Henry may not respond to his name right now. It’s called lost dog syndrome. Like I said I am praying he is with a family and they just don’t know that I am looking for him, but there still is a chance he could still be hiding on the streets. I don’t believe he is no longer with us, therefore at this time I will not give up hope and I will continue with search efforts.
If you think you see a dog that resembles Henry, if it’s possible please check that he is male, check if he is sterilized. Take photos of his face. A few good ones if possible and text or call the numbers asap. If you think you see him in a house or with a person, try to talk to the owners and explain to them the story. Maybe it’s him and they don’t know. When he went missing from the daycare he had no collar on but at this point someone could have taken him and put one on him. Henry is about 10kg, maybe a little less now. He is a medium to small size dog. He has a little brown beard and also has two tiny white spots on his chest, however the white spots will be less visible once his hair grows in. He had a very short hair cut right before he went missing. He is all black other than those two little white spots. He resembles a terrier/doodle mix. His hair is a bit curly and doesn’t shed. He has a long tail. I always call him my Mexican Street Doodle. Sir Henry Doodle!!
