Number of Domestic Tourists Increases

Last year’s tourists numbers broke records and became historic data. During the annual report of activities, Rodrigo Esponda, director of the Los Cabos Tourism Fund (FITURCA) stated that the number of Mexican tourists increased by 34 percent! International tourism grew 20 percent and during Spring Break, semana Santa and Easter Week, the Southern Baja airports (San Jose, Cabo San Lucas and Loreto) will be receiving an average of 12,000 tourists per day on weekends.
