Nearly one million tourists visited Mexico in May this year according to a report from the Ministry of the Interior (SEGOB), up 9 percent from May 2019. It is a huge recovery from 2020, when during the same month, only 23,000 tourists visited the country. The American Automobile Association reports that over 47.7 million Americans plan to travel during the Fourth of July Holiday.
