You know how traffic on the transpeninsular can be a real headache, right? Well, it’s about to get a bit more tangled. Oomsapas, the folks in charge of our water supply, have just announced they’re closing part of the service lane heading into Cabo, right in the El Tezal area. It’s not just for kicks, though. They’ve been busy replacing a seriously long piece of pipe – we’re talking 700 meters, or 2,300 feet, if you prefer the old-school measurement.

Now, they’re in the process of repaving that whole stretch. So, if you’re driving around there, you’re going to want to be extra careful. The exact spot? It’s right in front of the Santa Carmela neighborhood, at the entrance to Amaranto school. Yeah, that spot. So, if you’re heading that way, maybe leave a bit earlier than usual, crank up some tunes, and prepare for a bit of a slow ride. It’s all for a good cause, though – better water supply and smoother roads in the long run!
