Join an inspiring evening of documentary cinema with a special screening of Ya Me Voy, presented by the Los Cabos Institute of Culture and the Arts in collaboration with the Documentary Film Club Los Cabos. This free cultural event invites audiences to experience an award-winning documentary that explores themes of identity, migration, family, and the pursuit of a better future through a deeply personal and moving story.

Directed by Lindsey Cordero and Armando Croda, Ya Me Voy is a 75-minute documentary that follows the emotional journey of a Mexican mariachi musician as he prepares to leave his homeland in search of new opportunities. Through intimate storytelling and powerful cinematography, the film offers a heartfelt look at the sacrifices, hopes, and challenges that accompany the decision to start a new life while remaining connected to one’s cultural roots.

The screening will take place on Tuesday, July 14, at 8:00 PM at the Foro de la Casa de la Cultura “Prof. Alfredo Green González” in San José del Cabo. Admission is free, making this an excellent opportunity for film enthusiasts, students, and the general public to enjoy an evening of meaningful cinema in a welcoming cultural setting.
