La Paz Christmas Street Market Open

One hundred booths with Christmas merchandise, clothes, toys and many more items are now for sale at the 32^nd “tianguis” in Madero street in downtown La Paz.  It will remain open until Christmas Eve. The word Tianguis comes from the Pre-Hispanic Nahuatl language in Latin America. Originally it was “tianquiz(tli) and derived into today’s tianguis.
