La Paz Christmas Street Market Open

One hundred booths with Christmas merchandise, clothes, toys and many more items are now for sale at the 32nd “tianguis” in Madero street in downtown La Paz.  It will remain open until Christmas Eve. The word Tianguis comes from the Pre-Hispanic Nahuatl language in Latin America. Originally it was “tianquiz(tli) and derived into today’s tianguis.
