Dozens of Dolphins Found Dead

A marine mammals protection organization reported some 30 common dolphins (Delphinus delphis) dead at the Califin beach, located between La Paz and San Juan de la Costa. The critters did not show signs of having fought against the tide, nor of having been hurt by killer whales. Scientists took samples of their skin and flesh to investigate the cause of death.
