Governor Asks Businesses for Help. In order to build an overpass at the Fonatur roundabout in San Jose del Cabo, Governor Victor Castro is passing the hat. Business People Willing to Pitch in Money. Julio Castillo, President of the Los Cabos Coordinating Council stated that his organization, which is formed by the most important business associations, has always been willing to participate in improving Los Cabos. The federal, state and city governments are currently working on ideas and propositions to alleviate vehicle traffic along the fourlane between Cabo and San Jose, and once the solutions are budgeted, everyone will pitch in money.
Pressure to Improve Toll Booths Mounting. The Los Cabos Coordinating Council, along with Southern Baja Governor Victor Castro and Los Cabos Mayor Oscar Leggs, are increasing the pressure on the federal government to improve service at the toll road booths. More booths are needed, as well as a faster payment process, since at rush hour the line of vehicles is over 1 kilometer long and over 30 minutes of wait. We are still waiting for the feds’ response.

This time, he has instructed the communications and transport minister to work with customs and immigration to reduce the wait time for tourists entering our gorgeous destination. Let’s see how long it takes for them to hire more personnel, that’s all that is needed. Sigh.
