Mini Artists Workshop Landscapes of Light and Shadow 2026

Invite your young creators to explore the magic of light and shadow in this special Mini Artists Workshop at the Museo de Arte de Baja California Sur.
On Saturday, August 29, 2026, children ages 8 to 12 will participate in the workshop “Paisajes de Luz y Sombra: Acetato y Terciopelo” (Landscapes of Light and Shadow: Acetate and Velvet). During this two-hour creative session (from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM), participants will discover how to play with contrast, texture, and composition using acetate and velvet materials to create unique landscape artworks.
This hands-on activity encourages artistic expression, observation skills, and experimentation with light and dark elements. Children will learn to build depth and atmosphere in their pieces while having fun in a supportive and inspiring museum environment.
The workshop is completely free of charge, with limited spaces available. Registrations open starting Tuesday, August 25.
A wonderful opportunity for young artists to develop their creativity, explore new techniques, and enjoy a morning of art at one of La Paz’s most important cultural spaces.
