Los Cabos Billfish Tournament 2025

The Los Cabos Billfish Tournament is the official kickoff to offshore fishing season in Cabo San Lucas, drawing top-tier sportfishing teams from around the world every October. Renowned for its high-energy competition, participants vie for honors across multiple categories—ranging from landing the heaviest marlin to racking up the most billfish releases—and also competing in tuna, wahoo, and dorado divisions. With fast-paced action on the water and lively camaraderie dockside, it’s as much a social spectacle as it is a competition. The tournament concludes with a glamorous awards gala at the beachfront Playa Grande Resort.
