On Saturday, August 8, 2026, the beautiful Playa Migriño, north of Cabo San Lucas, will host the exciting “Pescando para Salvar Vidas” shore fishing tournament a sporting event with a powerful social purpose.

This unique tournament combines the thrill of competitive fishing with a meaningful cause, supporting the vital work of the Bomberos Voluntarios de Cabo San Lucas (Volunteer Firefighters). Every registration, every catch, and every effort contributes directly to saving lives and strengthening emergency response capabilities in the region.

This is more than just a fishing competition  it is a community-driven initiative that brings together anglers, families, and supporters for a day of sport, camaraderie, and solidarity. Participants will enjoy a beautiful sunrise on the beach, the excitement of the catch, and the satisfaction of contributing to a noble cause.

Organized by the Cuerpo de Bomberos y Rescatistas de Cabo San Lucas in collaboration with Fonmar Baja California Sur and Yuka’s Sportfishing, the tournament promises a well-organized and memorable experience in one of the most scenic locations in Los Cabos.
