From February 9 to February 15, 2026, the beautiful region of Los Cabos comes alive with Luces del Mar y Acción, a vibrant week-long celebration of cinema, creativity, and community organized by the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes de Los Cabos, Cine Club Documental, and local partners.

This free, family-friendly cultural program brings outdoor movie screenings (Cine Móvil), hands-on animation workshops (taumatropes and short-film making), acting masterclasses led by renowned Mexican actor Enoc Leaño, and special collaborations to beaches, plazas, schools, and cultural centers across San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, and surrounding delegations.

Whether you’re a film buff, a parent looking for enriching activities, an aspiring actor, or just someone who loves movies under the stars, Luces del Mar y Acción turns the second week of February into a magical celebration of stories, creativity, and the beauty of Baja California Sur.
