Sudcalifor Cumbia 2026

Feel the powerful rhythm of the land and the spirit of resistance at a special live performance by Herederos. On Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 7:00 PM, the group brings Sudcalifor Cumbia to the heart of San José del Cabo in a free outdoor concert filled with energy, culture, and emotion.
Under the title “Tambores, Cantos y Sones en Resistencia” (Drums, Songs and Sones in Resistance), Herederos deliver a vibrant fusion of traditional and contemporary sounds rooted in the cultural identity of Baja California Sur. Expect powerful percussion, heartfelt vocals, and the infectious grooves of cumbia blended with regional expressions that celebrate both heritage and resilience.
The event takes place at the Kiosko in Plaza Antonio Mijares, one of the most charming and emblematic public spaces in San José del Cabo. This open-air setting provides the perfect atmosphere for a community gathering where music, culture, and local pride come together under the evening sky.
Organized by the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes de Los Cabos, this performance is part of the ongoing effort to bring meaningful artistic experiences closer to the people and to highlight voices that keep cultural traditions alive while speaking to the present.
