As part of the Fiestas Tradicionales de San José del Cabo 2026, a full day of cultural activities will be held on Saturday, March 21 at Plaza Antonio Mijares in San José del Cabo.

The program begins at 4:00 PM with a performance by the traditional circus group Diocircus, offering family-friendly entertainment. At 5:00 PM, the LIII Juegos Florales “Margarito Sández Villarino” will take place, featuring a series of artistic and literary presentations. Highlights include a romantic musical performance by Yudith Ascencio and Jonathan Orozco, the official opening ceremony, a contemporary dance piece titled “Abilis: El lenguaje como hogar” by choreographer Sofía Camacho, and the crowning of the festival queen along with the award-winning poetry recital.

The evening concludes with a live concert at 8:15 PM by the renowned Mexican pop group Pandora, promising a memorable performance to close the day’s festivities.

Organized by the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes de Los Cabos, this event celebrates tradition, music, literature, and performing arts as part of one of the region’s most important cultural festivals.
