To enhance surveillance and response efforts in the El Médano tourist area, the Los Cabos Hotel Association donated an ATV to the operations team of the Fiscal Inspection Coordination in Cabo San Lucas.
This donation will bolster surveillance efforts from the Breathless hotel to the RIU Santa Fe hotel, serving as a crucial tool for a faster response to reports and for maintaining order in the so-called Golden Zone, all while ensuring the tourist experience remains unaffected. Keeping this beach a pleasant place to spend the day is in eveyone’s best interest.
The Tax Inspectorate operates around the clock, with three daily shifts, and anyone can approach the appropriately uniformed and accredited inspectors directly to report any suspicious activity.
Elisa Araos, executive director of the Los Cabos Hotel Association, explained that this donation arose from the roundtable discussions held monthly by the Los Cabos Coordinating Council, on informal trade with active participation from the tourism sector.
