For the fifth consecutive year, Los Cabos participates in the “IMEX Frankfurt”, the leading global exhibition in Europe’s trade fair for incentive travel, meetings, and events. International organizers of congresses, conventions, and corporate events meet annually to conduct business.
The Los Cabos delegation is comprised of 12 strategic partners representing hotels, DMCs, and companies specializing in experiences and services for the meetings industry.
“Meetings tourism is a strategic opportunity for Los Cabos. In the first quarter of 2025, our destination welcomed more than 1.38 million international tourists, and the meetings industry is consolidating its position as a key driver for diversifying and strengthening this influx,” stated Rodrigo Esponda, General Director of FITURCA (the Los Cabos Tourism Trust).
As part of the strategy to improve connectivity and facilitate the arrival of groups from Europe, the participation of Cóndor Airlines stands out. It will showcase its executive cabin on the exhibition floor and promote the direct Frankfurt–Los Cabos flight. This air connection is a key gateway for meetings and incentive tourism from Europe.
Los Cabos delegation will deliver 12 presentations to more than 150 event planners, all key decision-makers in the organization of meetings and incentives. Additionally, nearly 500 business meetings will be held, including meetings with tour operators such as Classic Golf Tours, Dertouristik, Berge & Meer, and Studiosus, strengthening Los Cabos’ presence in the European market.
Los Cabos’ agenda includes strategic meetings with business partners in the city, the Mexican Consulate in Germany, and the media, with the aim of strengthening the international promotion of the destination and forging new alliances that drive regional tourism development.
This participation consolidates Los Cabos as a competitive and reliable destination for meetings and events, generating new business opportunities and international alliances that drive sustainable growth in the region,” concluded Esponda.
