Runners and cyclists on the road
Due to the “Astri La Paz” Triathlon and a private event in the boardwalk area, the boardwalk will be closed to traffic this Friday until the end of the sporting activities on Saturday, March 22, as announced by the Municipal Transit office.
Starting at Friday 8:00 a.m. on Paseo Álvaro Obregón, in the section from Agustín Arreola to Hidalgo, to allow the triathlon equipment to be set up.
On Saturday, March 22nd, starting at 6:30 a.m., vehicular traffic will be suspended on the Malecón from Manuel Márquez de León Street to Norte Street. Likewise, starting at 2:00 p.m., the road will be closed all the way to Balandra Beach, resuming traffic at 6:00 p.m. or once the last participant has completed their route.
During this stage, two-way traffic will be allowed on the Highway to the Puerta Cortez tourist complex in the right lane.
Roads will gradually reopen as the competitions progress.
At the end of the competition stage, the closure will be reduced again to Miguel Hidalgo Street, with the road operation ending at 10:00 p.m.
