Los Cabos is set to welcome about the same number of visitors in 2024 as it did in 2023—around 4 million. While the goal was to increase tourism by 10%, FITURCA (The Los Cabos Tourism Board) admits that didn’t happen. One of the key reasons? Promotion budgets haven’t kept pace with other Mexican and international destinations. Sob, sob.
Despite this, there’s plenty to be proud of. Los Cabos remains a favorite destination, with 40% of visitors returning for more of its incredible charm. Why? Our perfect weather, warm hospitality, unbeatable gastronomy, and world-class outdoor activities like golf, fishing, and eco-tourism.
While 2024 doesn’t promise explosive growth, the focus will be on maintaining the high-quality service that keeps tourists coming back. Let’s keep giving them reasons to return, Cabos-style!
Stay tuned as Los Cabos continues to show why it’s one of the best travel destinations in the world.
