September saw a quieter month for Los Cabos resorts, with hotel occupancy reported at 51%, one of the lowest rates since 2020, according to the Los Cabos Hotel Association. This dip may have given some pause to the local tourism sector, but things quickly turned around as October brought the excitement of Bisbee’s Black & Blue Tournament.
Fishermen from all over the globe flocked to the area, filling hotels and timeshare properties with anglers and their families ready to take on the legendary fishing challenge. With this annual event giving a significant boost to the local economy and energizing the town, it’s safe to say everyone is grateful for the “anglers’ effect.”
Here’s hoping for a steady upward trend as peak season approaches!
