Thanks to the tourist tax, Los Cabos just got a much-needed boost in the form of 15 brand-new garbage collection trucks, which hit the streets immediately. This should help alleviate the trash build-up that’s been causing quite a mess lately.
But don’t think those rented trucks are going anywhere just yet—they’ll still be on duty until the city gets fully caught up with waste collection. With the population and tourism growing, it’s been a challenge to stay on top of things, but these new trucks are a step in the right direction.
