La Ribera Fishing Tournament Announced.With a guaranteed purse of nearly 14 grand, the La Ribera 2024 fishing tourney takes place from August 16 to 17. The biggest Marlin, Dorado and Tuna caught will take cash prizes, with the Marlin winner taking half of the money, while the Dorado and Tuna will split the rest 50/50. Tourist Developer Donates Ambulances.Grupo Questro, developer of the San Jose Marina, Cabo Real and other resorts donated three ambulances to the San Jose del Cabo Fire Department. Music, Theater and Dance Project Begins.The state’s Institute of Culture is calling all artists to register for the 2025 Foros de la Alegria (Joy Forums). The projects must be registered by November 1 at the latest to participate. San Jose del Cabo Airport Ranked Best of Mexico. At least that is what AirHelp.com says, don’t shoot the messenger! AirHelp rates each airport in the world based on on-time performance, quality of service, and passenger sentiment factors. Worldwide, Los Cabos International Airport was ranked at number 22. La Paz Airport Breaks Record. Tourism in La Paz continues to grow and will grow more next year. In 2023, the La Paz airport received 1.1 million passengers and already in the first semester of this year has welcomed 600,000 passengers, 19% more than in the same period of last year. In November, Alaska Airlines will begin flying in from California in addition to 10 national flights. Way to go! ,
