U.S. Navy Aircraft Stationed in Cabo. A Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey and another U.S. Navy aircraft are stationed at the Cabo San Lucas airport and making short trips toward international waters. A request for information on their mission has not been responded to. The Bell Boeing V-22 Osprey is an American multi-mission, tiltrotor military aircraft with both vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) and short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities. It is designed to combine the functionality of a conventional helicopter with the long-range, high-speed cruise performance of a turboprop aircraft. The V-22 is operated by the United States, the U.K. and Japan, and is not only a new aircraft design, but a new type of aircraft that entered service in the 2000s, a tiltrotor compared to fixed-wing and helicopter designs. The V-22 first flew in 1988, and after a long development, was fielded in 2007. The design essentially combines the vertical takeoff ability of a helicopter, but the range of a fixed-wing airplane.

Many of the old trucks are out of order, and less than a dozen are in working condition to service Los Cabos, which not only includes Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, but also Migriño, Santa Anita, Santiago, Miraflores and Buenavista and rural communities around. Many neighborhoods are getting their trash picked up only every 2 weeks.

Telmex will work on it, and, if approved, the project will represent an investment of USD 22.6 million and greatly improve our telecommunications in the Baja Peninsula.
Thousands of Sardines Die in La Paz. La Paz residents woke up to a Dantesque scene one morning when they discovered thousands of dead, decomposed and stinky sardines along the malecón. The Coepris, the state’s agency for the prevention of diseases, picked up the dead sardines to find out what killed them. Most possibly, the extreme heat.
